Saturday September 2nd 1882. I was busy about the work most of the forenoon and sewed a little to finish up some sheets. Mother went to town with Hatt just before dinner. After I got the dinner work done up I went over and we bought a dozen new chairs for the dining room and a new fine table-cloth. The Stinson girls came back here about five oclock. Rob and I spent the evening at Lowns. Weather pleasant after the rain. Sunday September 3rd 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon Soon after dinner I sat down to write letters. I wrote to Lou Van Camp, Mary Briggs and Mifs Lewis. In the evening Rob and I went to church. The girls were over to Ella Birds most of the day, and they went to church in the evening with Lee and Mr Roseberry. Otto is improving slowly.
