Mother and I put up the peaches in the afternoon before she went over to Mrs Trowbridge where she was invited to tea I was busy working about the house all the rest of the afternoon Aunt Linda came up just before supper to stay all night. Saturday September 9th 1882. I baked two cakes and cleaned the house all up before dinner. Aunty went home soon after dinner. I finished the sheets in the afternoon and played on the piano in the evening Mr Gray came down to sing awhile. Weather pleasant. Sunday September 10th 1882. I was busy all the forenoon helping with the work. We got up a real nice dinner Uncle Georges family and Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary were here for dinner. Onie and her cousin came up to stay all night with me. We were over to Hatts in the afternoon and the boys came there with some water-melons and we had a great time
