Sunday September 17th 1882 It was a very warm day we sent over for Hatt and the baby real early and I hurried to do up my work so Rob and I rode over to church dinner was nearly ready when we got back. I wrote a letter to Uncle Jacob in the afternoon and a card to Pottle. John & Hatt did not go home till after supper. I played on the piano in the evening. Monday September 18th 1882. We got the washing out in very good time this morning and I had the house all cleaned up and porch scrubbed by noon I ironed part of the things in the afternoon and finished Mays aprons, played on the piano in the evening Tuesday September 19th 1882. I finished the ironing this forenoon besides doing the other work. Mother went to town. I practiced awhile and sewed some in the afternoon and all the evening on some skirts I am fixing for Mother.
