Wednesday September 20th 1882. I was busy about the work all the forenoon as I baked cookies and did some other baking. Hatt was over just after dinner and Mother went back to town with her I worked on her skirts what time I had and finished them up in the evening. Weather cooler and pleasanter than it has been. Thursday September 21st 1882. I had another washing done this morning Elmer did the most of the work on the machine I cleaned up stairs real good and mopped the dining room before noon. I dressed and went to town in the afternoon, got some things for supper and was down to Hatts awhile. I rolled up the clothes before supper, played on the piano in the evening Friday September 22nd 1882. I did the ironing before breakfast. Went to town before dinner and got stoves for up stairs and some groceries, got two baskets of peaches and Mother and I put them up before she went down to Wilcox where
