Sunday October 1st 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon. I read a little in the afternoon Hatt and Flora were over and brought Edith with them. Judge Day came this morning from the West. In the afternoon Curtis took his Father for a ride and after they came back, Rose-berry and I went for a short ride. I wrote a letter to Amanda Anderson in the evening. Monday October 2nd 1882. I got up early and had the washing done and the house all cleaned up by noon Mother went to town in the afternoon and I cleaned the garret. I ironed a few things in the evening. Judge Day went to Davenport. Tuesday October 3rd 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon and in the afternoon We put up fifty pounds of grapes. We finished just at supper time. Weather very warm. I was working on fancy work in the evening
