Wednesday October 25th 1882. I got the work done up as soon as possible this morning as Em Parvin and Hatt were coming over to spend the day. The babies were good and all hands enjoyed the visit Mr Jackson from Muscatine was here for dinner The girls helped Mother wash the dinner dishes and I washed out a set of napkins and the red table-cloth they got dry so I ironed them before supper I went to bed very early. Thursday October 26th 1882. I cleaned up stairs this morning and washed out some sheets. Mother was gone to town all the afternoon. I practiced two hours in the afternoon and ironed the things I washed this morning I got to work in the evening on Lee's shirts they were to change at the neck and sewed till midnight. We had another pleasant day.
