Sunday November 5th 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon and played on the piano after dinner. I wrote to Blanche Dunlap and Winnie Given in the evening. Monday November 6th 1882. We got the washing done early. I gave the whole upper story a good sweeping before noon I knit on Mays stockings in the afternoon and evening. Weather threatening rain. Tuesday November 7th 1882. I did part of the ironing today and finished one of Mays stockings and began another. Weather pleasanter than yesterday. Wednesday November 8th 1882. It was a very pleasant day I got my work done in time to knit a little on Mays stockings before noon. I went to town soon after dinner and got some things for May I went to Emma Rankins wedding in the evening, took her a set of glass-ware for a present. It was a pleasant wedding party.
