Tuesday November 14th 1882. I did part of the ironing in the forenoon and knit on Mays stocking all the afternoon and evening Weather pleasanter. Wednesday November 15th 1882. It was a splendid fall day and I gave the house a good cleaning up in the forenoon and did some mending in the afternoon. We had company, Aunty Walker came over before dinner and Linnie Howe spent the afternoon here I knit all the evening. Thursday November 16th 1882. It was a steady rainy day I helped about the work all day as Mrs Nipher and Julia were up washing windows and Mother was cleaning the pantry. Friday November 17th 1882. Weather still rainy. Mother and Elmer washed out a few things in the forenoon I was busy about the work. I ironed some in the afternoon and knit in the evening. Hatt was over a little while. Rob came home sick this forenoon.
