Wednesday November 22nd 1882. I was very busy about the house all the morning and went to town in the afternoon. I knit a little in the evening. Thursday November 23rd 1882 It was an unpleasant day. I worked about the house some my eyes hurt me so I could not do any thing else. Friday November 24th 18782. I was busy about the house all the forenoon. Mother went to town. I finished Mays stockings. Hatt was over to supper May went over there to stay all night. Saturday November 25th 1882. I worked about the house all day long Mother went to town in the afternoon. Hatt and Mrs Carney were here in the afternoon and had the baby with them. I began to knit Lee a pair of mittens in the evening Judge Day came this evening to stay over Sunday. Weather wintry. Otto went to Burlington to stay over Sunday
