Sunday December 17th 1882. I was busy about the work all the forenoon as I helped some with the dinner We had roast turkey. In the afternoon Rob took me in the sleigh over to the Opera house to the memorial service held for John Porter. I helped get the supper when I came home and read a little in the evening. Monday December 18th 1882. I got up early to do the washing. It was nearly all done by breakfast I then cleaned up the garret and brought down some work. I sewed a little in the afternoon but had to get the supper alone as Mother went over to Hatts to a birth-day party given for Eugene I was busy about the work all the evening Tuesday December 19th 1882 I ironed some in the forenoon and finished in the afternoon. I fixed lunch for Mr Roseberry as he started home tonight. I knit in the evening.
