Friday December 29th 1882. I sewed all the forenoon and finished Mays dress. I went to townin the afternoon to get somethings that I wanted for my supper tomorrow night as I was going to have a company. I brought in the clothes after I came home and did part of the ironing after supper. Weather cold and wintry. I met George Paul on the street I have not seen him for nearly twelve years and twelve years ago tonight he was here to a party. Saturday December 30th 1882. I was busy about the work all the forenoon. I had a few girls here to spend the afternoon. The boys all spent the evening at home and we had a very pleasant time. John & Hatt stayed all night. Weather clear and cold.
