To make Queen Cakes Take one pound of fine Flour well dried one Pd of fine Sugar well sifted one Pd of Butter, and 8 Yolks, and 4 whites of Eggs, 4 Spoonfuls of Orange Flower Water - half a Pint of White Wine and a whole Nutmeg grateed a little Cinnamon finely sifted mix these well together & beat them with a Whisk, - two hours - Butter your Tins, your Oven being ready, fill them, not too full, mix some Currants a little before you fill the Tins, and bake them in a Slow Oven -
