To clean Marble - Mrs Kenyon Salford Take Pearl Ashes Whiting Soft Soap & Sauce an equal quantity of each mix'd very well and Spread it over the Marble - let it Stand on a fortnight - and then rub it off. - New yorkshire Pudding Take a quarter of a Pound of Ground Rice Half a Pound of Flour two Eggs and a Sufficient quantity of Milk - roast it under a Joint of Mutton. - The Rice will scarcely be perceptible to the taste and thus combined with the Flour will yield a Pudding of equal weight to one made of a pound of Flour alone - which is a saving of one half in the consumption of Flour in this article of Food - as well as something in the essence of it - Receipt Dr Thickacse Two ounces of Flour of Sulphur - one ounce of Cream of Tartar & half an ounce of [talup?]
