Mrs Rimmers Club Cakes - Sytham A pound of flour three quarters of a pound of butter; and what Carroway Seeds you like - Sugar to your taste - The Sugar and butter to be rubbed into the flour - and all to be mixed up into a paste with the whites of Eggs well beaten - without either Milk or water - To be rolled and cut in Cakes and baked - Pira Lignea or wood acids will Sour Vinegar which has not gone Sour - and five fifths of water to one fifth of the wood acid will good vinegar - Rhubarb Pills Mrs Thing - Two Dracms of Rhubarb finely powdered Syrup of ditto by weight One Dracm Oil of Carroway 10 drips - To be made into 40 pills -
