Tuesday February 15th 1881 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon helped put up the clothes after Bridget washed them. I finished knitting a double mitten for myself in the evening. Wednesday February 16th 1881 It was an extremely cold day again I was sewing most of the day fixing me a dress to wear for every day Charlie McCall was here most of the afternoon I knit all the evening. Thursday February 17th 1881 We girls took an early start this morning for town Lee took us in the cutter. We did some trading and then went up to Winnies where we had a fine visit and a good dinner. Otto came after us about five oclock and it was snowing hard. I knit in the evening after I had helped through with the supper. Wrote to Charlie
