Tuesday December 6th 1881 I was busy about the house most of the forenoon and Bridget did part of the ironing. Mother was over to town. I worked some on the hood in the afternoon and practiced in the evening. Wednesday December 7th 1881 It was a splendid day I went over to Hatts as soon as I had my breakfast and worked till dark to finish the hood. Hatt and I went up town after supper. I got some muslin for night shirts and oil-cloth for a splasher. Ott came home with me at nine oclock. I had a letter from Charlie. Thursday December 8th 1881 I worked all the forenoon at the house and cleaned up the parlors very nicely. Hatt was over all the afternoon. I cut and made three night shirts by working late at night. Was very tired tonight. Weather still pleasant.
