Sunday January 18th 1880 It was a delightful day. I went to church in the morning. Rob and I were on top the house most of the afternoon talking over the plan for the back part of the house. Hatt went over to the singing in the afternoon and Win came home with her. We all went to church at night. Monday January 19th 1880 I did the washing this forenoon and the work in the afternoon for Mother went to the valley. It rained most of the afternoon but they got home. I had a letter from Ira today, how I would like to see him, Tuesday January 20th 1880 I did the ironing this forenoon. Win came over and stayed till after dinner and Hatt went home with her and did not come home till bed-time. John was over. I worked afternoon and evening on the shirts I began last week and finished them up ready to put away. Three years today Pete came.
