Tuesday January 27th 1880 I did the ironing in the forenoon and made three aprons in the afternoon and partly fixed cushions for two chairs up stairs. I felt too tired to do much of any thing in the evening. Wednesday January 28th 1880 I helped do up the work this morning and Mrs Moon and Mary spent the day here. We had a splendid visit with them. After they got started home we hurried the supper work through and Hatt and I went to church in the evening. Thursday January 29th 1880 I finished up the cushions this morning that I began Tuesday and worked of some work for chain stitching that I worked at all the afternoon and evening. Weather miserable it sleeted and rained all the afternoon. I wanted to go over town but was unable to do so.
