Thursday February 19th 1880 It was nearly nine oclock when we got up this morning and the boarders had gone to school I helped with the work all the forenoon and worked at my chain stitching in the afternoon. Mother was gone to town and Hatt was asleep. Friday February 20th 1880 I washed this forenoon and worked on my chain stitching all the afternoon. Ira and Anna came up just before dinner. The girls went over to Wins and stayed till evening and we all went around that way to go to the [Zet?] Exhibition which was a very pleasant affair and the evening was lovely. Saturday February 21st 1880 We got our work done in the forenoon and in the afternoon Mother and I went up to Templetons, Rutons and Blacks, to call. In the evening we all went to ladies society. Weather very pleasant.
