Wednesday March 3rd 1880 I went over early this morning and sewed at Wins till five oclock. Scott Lindley and Robbie were here for supper I helped do the work up and cut carpet rags in the eve. Thursday March 4th 1880 Our girl came this morning to help sew. I ironed in the forenoon and helped get the dinner. Aunt Em, Frank, and Willie were here for dinner. I sewed about two hours in the afternoon and then went to town and did not get home till supper time. We sewed all the evening. Friday March 5th 1880 We sewed all day and till quite late in the evening. No one was here today. Saturday march 6th 1880 We sewed all day. Win was over and helped us awhile. Kate went home soon after supper. We girls sewed till quite late. We had a contest with Father about fixing the house tonight.
