Sunday March 7th 1880 I did not feel like going to church and so I helped do up the work and get the dinner. Ira was here part of the day. A windy cold day. Wrote to Clara Musselman and Mary Briggs. Monday March 8th 1880 Katie came again this morning to sew and Win was over all the afternoon. I went to town in the afternoon in the phaeton for things we needed. We sewed at night. Tuesday March 9th 1880 We sewed all day and the evening only stopping long enough to help a little about meals. Wednesday March 10th 1880 Win was over all day and we all sewed what hand work it is. Thursday March 11th 1880 We sewed again today. I have my gray suit and bunting fixed and we have a good start on Hatts new dress and Mothers and her old black one. Katie and I cut my silk and dolman just before night.
