Friday March 12th 1880 I went to town as soon as I ate my breakfast and my how cold it was. I got more silk for my dress and fringe for trimming. When I came home made the button-holes in a dress for Hatt. In the afternoon had to go to town for lining for my velvet skirt. I got a pretty fair start on it tonight. Win over again. Saturday March 13th 1880 We sewed all day. Hatt finished all her dresses. we worked on my silk and my brown cashmere. Katie went home tonight. It has been a cold snowy day. I had a letter from Charlie and a note from Onie Nelson. I did not do much in the evening. I was nearly sick with a cold. Rob and the rest of us put in the evening talking up the plan for the house and some other things we have to make arrangements for this summer.
