Sunday March 14th 1880 I felt some better this morning and helped with the work. I wrote a letter to Charlie and Cousin Jennie in the afternoon and in the evening one to Harry [Camey?]. Monday March 15th 1880 Kate came again this morning and Win was over a part of the day. We sewed till late at night. I was very tired. Tuesday March 16th 1880 We sewed all day. Kate went home after supper. I sewed till late bed-time. Wednesday March 17th 1880 Hatt and Win went to Fletchers to spend the day. Mother went to the valley and Aunty Walker was here with me. I did the work and in the afternoon cut some carpet rags. I worked on my pillow case in the evening but was too tired to sit up long. I believe my cold is getting some better. We got a telegram that Charlie will be home tomorrow.
