Sunday April 4th 1880 It was a very pleasant morning I went to church and did nothing but rest in the afternoon and Rob and I went to the Trinity church at night. I went to bed as soon as I got home. Monday April 5th 1880 Hatt went to town about ten oclock and I went over in the afternoon and made calls did not get home till nearly supper time. Weather delightful. Mother had washed a few things in the afternoon. Tuesday April 6th 1880 Mother went to the valley and was gone all day it was very cold and windy I did part of the ironing and cut out some work for myself in the afternoon. Wednesday April 7th 1880 I finished the ironing this morning. Winnie and Mrs Middleton were here for dinner and we had callers nearly all the afternoon. A gentleman from the western part of the
