Wednesday April 21st 1880 I staid here at Grand-mothers all day Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary came just at evening to stay all night. They told us George Beal Jr dropped dead in school Monday morning. I went down to Aunt Libs to stay all night. Thursday April 22nd 1880 I went up to Aunt Ellens before noon and stayed there till five oclock her baby had a spasm this afternoon. I went up to Aunt Ems and stayed all night. Friday April 23rd 1880 I went down to Aunt Libs early this morning and came home with Uncle George. I helped get the dinner over and worked on my tidy all the afternoon and evening. Saturday April 24th 1880 I worked about the house most of the forenoon and went to town in the afternoon got some muslin for Lee shirts and came home and did some work on them.
