Thursday April 29th 1880 I did the ironing this forenoon and in the afternoon finished Lees shirts and worked at the carpet rags in the afternoon. Friday April 30th 1880 I did quite a washing in the forenoon and in the afternoon we began to sew on our new carpets and worked till supper time. I was too tired to do any thing in the evening. Weather cool for the season. Saturday May 1st 1880 I did some of the ironing in the morning and then we sewed carpet till after four oclock. Before supper I finished the ironing. I was very tired indeed. Sunday May 2nd 1880 I went to church int he morning and Rob and I took a ride after dinner and took a ride and talked of a trip to Ohio. When we came home found Ira, Frank Fletcher and Ed Lallant here. I was over to Folsoms a few moments just before night.
