Friday May 21st 1880 Mother went to town early this morning and just before noon Win came and Hatt went home with her. I got dinner over and baked some ginger cakes. In the evening we all went to the Junior contest. Saturday May 22nd 1880 I helped with the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon finished up Mays dresses. Otto and John Helmick were gone fishing all day. Sunday May 23rd 1880 I went to church this morning and when I came home helped Hatt finish the dinner. Mother and Father went up to Auntys and did not come home till supper was ready. Win was over in the afternoon I slept awhile. In the evening read and went to bed early. Monday May 24th 1880 I washed this forenoon and in the afternoon us girls both worked on two pair of pants Father had got. I went to bed rather early.
