Thursday June 3rd 1880 Bird and I went up to Mrs Hodgemans for dinner and in the afternoon went out to Allens on the North hill car. We came back about five oclock and I went on down to the store and stayed till supper time. In the evening I fixed up my things to come home. We talked late again tonight. Friday June 4th 1880 It was raining this morning so I did not start home. it did not rain long, I put in the day right here at the house only that Bird and I went down town a little while in the afternoon. Charlie came up from the store early and we talked on the porch till eleven oclock. Saturday June 5th 1880 I got home at noon today. Charlie and Bird went down to the depot with me in the morning. I put in the afternoon telling of my visit and worked a little in the carpet rags. Weather getting warmer.
