called. Rob and Minnie went to the ball and about ten oclock the rest of us went riding in the band waggon for two hours. A delightful moonlight night. Wednesday June 23trd 1880 We all went to Collegiate commencement this morning and it was long after noon when we got home but the exercises were excellent. Part of the folks went to the collation. Late in the afternoon Rob, Minnie and I went over to Emma Parvins we stayed there till time for the train going west where we found the rest of the folks ready to see Charlie Lufkin and Russell start for home which they did very soon. Thursday June 24th 1880 Rob took Minnie over to Oasis this morning. Mother went over town and stayed till he came back. I got the dinner and we all went over to the two oclock train to see Helmick young folks start for home. There were other friends went on the same train. Henry went at six and Martin and LIbbie in the afternoon so we are here alone.
