Friday July 30th 1880 I got the washing done by nine oclock. Father took the folks to the valley I sewed on muslin all day. Rob and Jeff got home tonight in the midst of a rain storm. Saturday July 31st 1880 I worked about the house all day we did a large washing and ironed all those clothes with what we had washed the day before Ott went after the folks and they did not get home till after nine oclock. We had to fix some more carpet rags today Weather very warm indeed. Sunday August 1st 1880 I helped some with the work and went to Sunday school. Ott brought Anna over to church John Whetstone brought us all home and they went to the valley in the afternoon. May and I went down to Robinsons but it looked like rain so we came right back and Lizzie and her little girl came with us. Rob Mother
