Tuesday August 3rd 1880 It was really cool for the time of year We girls both helped Mary sew all day. Wednesday August 4th 1880 I sewed a little early in the morning and that was about all I got done Mrs Paul and her daugher in law were here all day and Miss Brown went home with them Ed Mc brought his cousins Stella and Bertie Stinson up this evening and left them Weather still cool We heard from the boys. A letter from Will Reed Thursday August 5th 1880 Lee took me over town this forenoon and I engaged Mary Brown to come help us with Hatts brown silk I got today We helped with the the sewing all day. Miss Martin the girls cousin came this evening. I wrote to the boys and sent mail to them.
