Tuesday August 17th 1880 I ironed this morning and sewed the rest of the day we had a card from the boys and I a letter from Mr Day, Mother from Mrs Pomery and Hattie from Mr Russell Ida Halson was here for supper. Mollie was quite sick yesterday and did not go to school today I wrote a letter to the boys in the evening and just as we were ready to go to bed Mr & Mrs William Cattrell came. Wednesday August 18th 1880 We visited with the folks this morning till ten oclock when they went out to Wilsons to attend the wedding of Warren and Anne. I finished that muslin today. The folks came back here and stayed a few moments late in the afternoon before train time and told us what a pleasant affair the wedding was I practiced a little in the evening Weather still very warm.
