Thursday August 19th 1880 I went to town early for my music lesson and attended some other errands I worked a little on some pillow cases and in the afternoon ripped up Mothers dress and practiced in the evening Mrs Bevins spent the day here and we had a delightful visit. Friday August 20th 1880 Mary came this morning and we worked all day on Mothers dress I practiced in the evening Father and Lee went down to Uncle Jims for potatoes. Weather cooler. Saturday August 21st 1880 We girls both sewed on Mothers dress and got it about done Mollie went over to Halsons and did not come home till late in the afternoon and the girls came with her to stay a little while I sewed in the evening so I could not practice. Father and Mother went to Uncle Jims for apples in the forenoon.
