Sunday August 22nd 1880 Mollie and I went to sunday school in the morning and did not stay for church I felt so tired when I got home I lay down till dinner was ready. The girls went away in the afternoon I wrote a long letter to the boys and some postal cards on business to different boys about board. Monday August 23rd 1880 I sewed all day on Mays dress and it was very warm indeed It rained just at night I practiced in the evening. Tuesday August 24th 1880 There was water in the cellar this morning which made a hard forenoons work for us I got to sew a little and finished Mays dress and did some more work for her in the afternoon. Mollie had company for supper Nell Custor and Miss Walker Weather very sultry after the rain I had a letter from Lou Reeves and from Charlie
