Sunday October 3rd 1880 I did not go to church this morning and as soon as we were done the dinner dishes I went down to Robinsons and staid till nearly supper time. I read a little in the evening and went to bed early. Cooler since the rain. Monday October 4th 1880 I cleaned the house up in the morning and done the washing by three oclock Mother went to town late in the afternoon and I did some baking I practiced an hour in the evening Tuesday October 5th 1880 I got the ironing nearly done by noon. Grand-ma and Aunt Em spent the day here I finished the ironing after dinner and cleaned the lamps all good, put the clothes away before supper, practiced a little while in the evening Weather getting warmer again We have had no letter from Hatt yet. The new stove came home tonight. I do not like it at all.
