Tuesday October 19th 1880 It took all the forenoon to do the work and I got to practice more than an hour in the afternoon. Kate went home tonight and some of the young folks went down to the depot Mother and I got the supper. We went over to the opening in the evening Weather pleasanter. Wednesday October 20th 1880 I washed this forenoon and in the afternoon we girls changed things around up stairs, it took till nearly supper time. As soon as we ate our suppers we went over to the Catholic church to see Jim McGovern and Mollie Dooly married Thursday October 21st 1880 Mary Donovan sewed for us today I got my calico dress nearly done and Mothers black dress fixed, and Hatt hcanged her old black cashmere. It took a good part of the day for me to help with the work Weather a little more pleasant.
