Monday October 25th 1880 I did a large washing by noon and ironed the things in the afternoon Hattie did some washing for herself in the afternoon. I practiced in the evening. Tuesday October 26th 1880 I did the work this morning while Hatt did her ironing and in the afternoon she went to visit Aunty Walker and did not get home till John came from the store I got a little time to practice. Wednesday October 27th 1880 Mifs Patterson came this morning to give us girls our lessons. I went over in the afternoon and got Mother a new bonnet and myself a new hat. Onie and I went down to Halsons to make a visit and came home when John came from the store Hatt was over after supper I got yarn for myself and Otto a pair of mittens and began mine.
