Thursday November 25th 1880 I dident do much of any thing today was really too lazy to go to church with Kate in the morning. They had company for dinner and some callers. Will came home for the day. Kates Mother did not feel well enough for her to come tonight Mifs Sherwood came home with me, her brother was at the depot with the buggy The folks were all up to give us welcome. Friday November 26th 1880 I went to town as soon as I ate my breakfast to get things to bake cake with I met Will and Kate over there the train was just in. I helped about the work all the forenoon and baked a little in the afternoon. The boys took the carpet out. There was just nine couple of us at home in the evening and we did have a splendid time We danced and danced till three oclock and all enjoyed it too. Weather very much pleasanter.
