Tuesday December 14th 1880 I cleaned up the house and let Hattie work on her sacque I practiced two hours in the afternoon. Hattie took sick just before night and went to bed. Wednesday December 15th 1880 Hattie is still sick I was busy all day about the work. In the evening we all went to the Opera house to the entertainment by the Unitarian ladies which was very good. Thursday December 16th 1880 We had the doctor today as Hattie is no better John got a new stove for their room and had it put up I changed things around and helped do that. Friday December 17th 1880 I ironed today and did the work Hattie still keeps very sick. Onie and the little boys went home this afternoon and Mr Pentzer Sherwood and John Helmich all expect to go early in the morning. Ott and Lee went down to Aunt Lindas to the party.
