Saturday December 18th 1880 We did nothing but what house-work was necessary and take care of Hatt. Mollie Stevens was here a few moments and Winnie spent part of the day here. Archie is sick and wanted to go home today but missed the train. Sunday December 19th 1880 We were all the forenoon doing up the work and getting the dinner. Rob and I went in the sleigh over town to see if we could find a girl but were unsuccessful. We stopped to see how Mr Bell was. After we came home walked out to Fletchers and when we got back Rob went to church with Winnie and Mifs Miller who was here. Monday December 20th 1880 I washed today and went over town late in the afternoon. Charlie Russell finished paying for the term and I paid my note at Moores I got a lot of notions at the new dime store. Hattie is better today
