For Convulsion Fitts
Take the flowers of Ladys mock, pick the flowers from the stalks and dry them in the shade then make them into fine powdory and sift it which must be kept in a bottle close stopped. The Quan(ti)ty for a grown person is as much as will lye on a shilling, in Black Cherry Waters or [Myhue?] water, three Days before the new moon & 3 days after and 3 days before the full of 3 days after, the Quantity for a child must be as much as will lye on a Sixpence and for a very young child a less Quantity it is now in Bloom and may be had at the physick shops in Covent Garden.

The Small pox has carryed off abundance of the inhabitatants so that the Country people will not venture to come to Town and but few people seem in the streets. Abought 400 persons, white and Black have been Inoculated. At the first breaking out of the Small Pox in this Town, several persons were advised to prepare their Body for any sudden attack thereof, by drinking for some days in the morning [Tar?] water, which they we assured would Clense their Blood, and make the pocks favourable experience since how shewn that all those who have made use of Tar Water have not only hither escaped the infec [...]
