Poiverade sauce (Mrs Lavering) Take 5 anchovies with 1/2 a lemon without the skin, shred both together very fine with one large onion. put mustard oil & vinegar to your Taste - Mix the above ingredients well together---- Brown Onion Soup take a quainety of Onions put them into a stew pan stew them down with some brown gravy put them through a tamy take a little flower butter & brown gravy Mix them together put it in to the soup Give it one boyl up & let it be well skimed ----------- To Make Chees patties Take 1/2 a lb of Chees & Beat it verry fine in a morble Morter, then add to it a 1/4 lb of butter beat them well togeather then add 5 yolks & One Whit of Egg _ Beat them all well togeather till thay are quite Smooth then put them in Paxte & bake them the above quintity will Make 6 or 8 Just as the size of your patuns are
