Wednesday June 18th 1879 We took an early start to hear the Academic graduations the crowd was immense. The exercises were as good as usual and they kept us there till one oclock. Win and Ella Mc were were here for dinner and to spend the afternoon. I ironed some things for Hatt. Forneys folks, Louise, Mr Bailey, Lee and I took a ride in the evening. They indulged in a final jubilee tonight. Thursday June 19th 1879 The folks all packed up and this morning Mr Bailey went on the early train east. We walked over to the depot with the folks going north. Anna and I rode home in the waggon. At two oclock mother and I went to the depot with Forneys folks. We stopped to pay a few bills on the way home. Called at Esthers and invited her and Ann Palmer over tomorrow afternoon. I was too tired to do anything. We got a little supper and went to bed early. Weather warmer.
