Thursday August 28th 1879 Lee came home this morning reporting Mary about the same he then took Mr + Mrs Stinson to the valley. I did house-work all the forenoon and cut and sewed on Robs shirts all the afternoon. Hattie is still very sick. Friday August 29th 1879 I made jelly all the forenoon and sewed on the shirts what time I could get in the afternoon. Win was over to stay with Hatt we had the doctor to see her again today. After supper Lee took Win and I to the valley. They think Mary some better. We found Hatt feeling worse when we got home about ten oclock. Saturday August 30th 1879 I tried our new wash boiler this morning I had a large washing done by ten oclock then I cleaned up the house before noon. I did the ironing and baking in the afternoon. Ella Mc. was here for dinner John came home but Otto will come Monday. Mollie Stevens went home today Mrs Muller and Mrs [Caebron?] called this afternoon and Mrs Castor was here after supper and John in the evening.
