Tuesday September 9th 1879 I baked cake cookies and bread today. In the afternoon I cut out another apron for May. The girls went over to Cochrons to tea. We have another boarder come last night. We like him very much. I wrote to Rob tonight. Otto went after the girls we had a card from Rob. Wednesday September 10th 1879 I went to town this morning to get some things. It was two oclock when we got the work done after dinner and I finished Mays apron the girls were at home today they had callers just at evening. Thursday September 11th 1879 I did a large washing this morning and attended to the bread I was baking. It was four oclock before I got everything done I cut another apron and sewed an hour. I brought every thing in from the summer kitchen it looked so much like rain. We had a terrible storm. Mr Berlin spent the evening down stairs. Elmer Anderson was here all night.
