Friday September 12th 1879 I ironed this morning and we got dinner. Just at noon Ella Mc. and Stella Stinson came. Charlie and Kelse and Aunty and Uncle Walker. I had to be busy most of the afternoon about the work. Win was over in the evening and we had a general visit. I was very tired tonight. We heard from the folks they will be home tomorrow. Saturday September 13th 1879 We girls were busy with the baking and the dinner all the forenoon and the company aroused themselves and each other. Ella and Stella went home after dinner. I picked and put up tomatoes in the afternoon and finished Mays apron. Charlie and Kelse Hatt and Bird went to Wins for supper and did not get home till nine oclock. The folks got home from [Lama Co?] about ten oclock and we had a general visit before retiring. Mr Berlin went to town to board this afternoon his friends would not come across the river to board and he wanted to be with them.
