Thursday October 9th 1879 I went out real early this morning to call on Minnie Williams and at Mrs Huebner's. It was ten oclock when I got back to the Harris house. I spent the rest of the forenoon with my sewing and Bird and I spent the afternoon and evening at the Roneys. James came home with us. Friday October 10th 1879 I worked at my sewing most of the forenoon. My tooth began acking about ten oclock and just before noon I went down and had it pulled. I concluded I would not have my [plume?] colored. Bird and I went out to Mrs Porhams to spend the afternoon and the boys came after us. We had a splendid time. I had a letter from home. Saturday October 11th 1879 I went down town early this morning and got the stuff to make me a new tidy and got quite a start on it. We were out calling all the afternoon and came home at supper time tired nearly to death. Weather very warm. I worked on my tidy a little in the evening.
