Sunday October 19th 1879 I did not feel well enough to go to church. helped with the work in the forenoon and read and went walking with May in the afternoon. Rob and Mother were gone to the cemetery. I wrote a long letter to Charlie in the evening. Weather pleasant. Monday October 20th 1879 I washed the forenoon and while we girls did up the work after dinner mother and Rob went out to Hartsocks of an errand. When they got back Hatt and I drove over to town. I knit in the evening after we got supper over. Tuesday October 21st 1879 I ironed this morning. Rob and Hatt started to Washington Co. in the buggy. We bought a load of apples of a man today. I sent word to Rob. Mother was gone a part of the afternoon. I was busy doing some baking. Alf Stevens was here most the afternoon. Mr + Mrs Robinson were a part of the evening. Weather keeps pleasant.
