Saturday October 25th 1879 I worked all day long about the work and got considerable done and did not hurry. I put up a stove in mothers room and prepared a couple of wood boxes for up stairs. The folks started home about nine oclock. Rob and Hatt got home tonight. Sunday October 26th 1879 I helped do up the work this morning and went to church. Soon after dinner Father and Mother went up to see how Uncle Robert was. I did up all the wrk and had time to write a letter to Charlie in the afternoon. We had supper over when the folks got home and Rob Win and I were just ready to go to church. Weather rather cold. Monday October 27th 1879 I worked the forenoon and in the afternoon father took Hatt, May and I up to see how Uncle Robert was. We found him about the same. It was nearly night when we got home. I knit a little in the evening.
