Tuesday November 4th 1879 It was wintry enough today. I went over town in the buggy in the afternoon to get some things. Win was over and stayed till after supper. i brought some plants home from Liz Mygatts. Wednesday November 5th 1879 Hatt did the washing this morning and I cleaned up the house. Mother went to the valley in the afternoon and after I had done some baking I helped Hatt and we washed the windows all over the house. I was so tired tonight I was nearly sick. Thursday November 6th 1879 I ironed till noon and after we had got the dinner work over I helped do some baking and we cleaned the kitchen and stove room. Mrs Smith and Clara came back tonight. Clara and Rob were gone to town all the evening. I knit some after supper.
